Beware of Predatory Towing Practices
The latest weather conditions and limited parking can make it easy pickings for some dishonest truck companies – so be aware of predatory towing practices.
Predatory towing includes tactics such as not posting adequate signs in parking lots to lure drivers, and using spotters equipped with binoculars and walkie-talkies to quickly send for tow trucks. Easy money for a dishonest tow company especially since off street parking is at a minimum right now.
