Sheriff’s detectives raided a home at 37311 N. West Branch Road in North Spokane County early today and seized nearly 50 marijuana plants being grown inside.
Arrested were 22-year-old Kamron S. Hynes and 24-year-old Jeremy James Harris. Both men were booked into the Spokane County Jail on felony counts of manufacturing a Controlled Substance.
A sheriff’s office spokesman said the double-wide manufactured home held 48 plants, 13 of which were four feet tall, adult and budding. Detectives also recovered about a quarter of a pound of harvested marijuana.
One of the suspects’ grandmother who lives in California reportedly owns the home.
I know you all expect a comment from me on this one……
I wish the best to the two young men. Sounds like they had some beautiful plants.
And really, a quarter pound isn't that much.
AMEN, Don't the police have something better to do than bust young kid's experimenting with there green thumb, like bust a Meth lab or something.! I honestly as a tax payer would like my dollers put to better use. PS, this case will become something much more here in the future, watch for it on the new's.
